I was given a Bush Hog and I cannot find an ID plate on it anywhere. It is Yellow in color which makes me thinks it was for a county/city sale?
It is 8 feet wide,PTO driven, two cutting blades with swivel cutting tips.
The right hand drive shear bolt is sheared and the flexible coupling is torn.
I was able to photograph a partial name pressed into the "car-tire" coupling material.
The coupling is 6" in diameter with a 2" hole in the center. The bolts appear to be on a 2 1/4" center to center?
The sheared off bolt I think was a 9/16x20x3 and threaded on the bolt head side with a smaller shear shaft going through the drive shaft.
Please help,I really need the parts.

The photos did not post.

I haven't seen one of those type of couplings in a long time. Search on the web for Lovejoy coupling or spider coupling, you will see various types that accomplish the same thing. McMaster Carr has them available in many sizes, you will have to replace the drive hubs with their style, but that should put you back in business.

I was able to take the coupling apart and found the words/name/number
Weasler Engineering
GS23
number 2105

That company is alive and well, located on US Rt 45 north of Milwaukee in West Bend Wis. Give them a call at 1-262-338-2161. They can refer you to a distributor that has that part number.

I was able to find replacement Flexible Coupling Disk that fit perfectly.I made a shear bolt for the 90 degree drive. A test run was normal.
Thank you for the replies.
