Working on a JD Hay Wagon, belive it's a 953, trying to find new Bolster Stakes , or universal ones or drawlings that someone made up ? Was a posting some time ago about these & suggested Sharp's, but he's no longer making them ! Thanks on any info, Alan

May have access to some. Son has converted a couple to combine header trailers and may have some. Will check today if I get the
chance.

Having rebuilt several JD 952, 953, and 963 running gears in my parade wagon building hobby, I have been in your situation. Here's how I answered that same question on this forum about 3 years ago from someone needing bolster stakes. I believe it will work for you. -- I had bolster stakes for an old JD running gear fabricated from 1/8" plate steel by our local welding shop. They bent a piece of 1/8" plate steel - probably 9" square - 3 ways into a "U" shape and then I used my angle grinder to cut away a piece in the middle section so it would fit over the axle and then drilled holes in the bottom of both sides of the stake to bolt them to the 3" wide axle. The welding shop did the bending and I did the cutting and drilling.
