NI 5209 blades for downed hay

I am new to discbines and had my first experience cutting down hay yesterday. Today the scalped spots are raising up like little mohawks out in the field. I've heard there are steeper pitched blades for downed hay but in the Shoup catalog I saw 18 degree blades only for the heavy duty "turtles", which I only have one of on my cutterbar. Can anyone point me to blades best suited for downed hay? Or adjustments? Techniques?

Most mowers have an adjustment for the tilt of the whole header. The 411 New Holland that I had, had an hydraulic cylinder so that you could adjust the cutting height on the fly. Some have a turnbuckle. Most mowers have available different height "shoes" which the header slides on.

When I am mowing down hay, I just slow my ground speed down, so the blade suction has time to lift the stems. And angle the cutter head with the screw adjustment on top.
