You can get 1" thick lumber at the Jensen Lumber Company in Ovid, Idaho. Sawmill produces lots of rough sawn lumber.

Factory made that I have seen were all 3/4" thick. I know what I saw was factory made Deere as the leaping Deere was painted on over Deere yellow,

The one I had was a Massey Harris it got broke over the winter because I forgot to take it off . Maybe I’ll just get a 1x10 and my nephew can cut it out

Lowes sells what they call a 5/4 treated lumber. It is a smooth board that is 1" thick. I used these for trailer flooring.

Back in the late 60's, my dad and I tore down three old houses for the lumber.

There were several true 1" boards.

Found a short piece to cut from an original pattern.

Take a look at the photos below.

Ash or hickory is my understanding guess , I’m just guessing , not sure if factory one was that picky
And I have one that looks like that design for a new ideas 💡 they look like a match . Last I looked the new ideas has a few limit supply around varies dealer.
If you have a part number plug into part search of tractor house , it willlocate for you.
The one you made is very well done , I like it .
I think you can order a wood pieceinch from varies Amish mills in the Middlefield Ohio area.

That helps a lot . Wish I had the original metal pieces but I have the ones that came off the Massey Harris board . There’s a guy on eBay who makes wood grass boards for 49$

I see a few for sale on eBay and the tractor magazines but I think I can make one that will be ok for working mower a cheap decal and some paint I think It’ll look ok

On the mower we had when I was growing up the board had met its demise many years earlier. Dad had bolted on a piece of steel rod about the same length as the board and at about the same angle. We used it that way for years. Seemed to work OK.
