Cultivating question

Cultivating question, would a coil 9 shovel cultivator be ok behind a John deer M ?

Not looking to go deep and very sandy soil

Thanks

It will work but not the best, I have done it with my simular
set up, dropping 2 shanks The problem is the control bar that
hangs under the tractor will damage the crop once it reaches a
certain hight that is relatively low.

Some are thinking use as a field cultivator and others are thinking row crop cultivatoe. Big difference in way could be set and conditions. I am thinking it is a fielf cultivator and could not be used as a row crop cultivator.

As a field Cultivator yes, it will pull it as I have done many times. Also to consider is type of ground as well as hills.

If you are trying to cultivate some crops, then I wont do well as the depth control bracket will most likely hit the crop.

Where are you located?
I have numerous M implements and would be willing to part with an M-100 one row cultivator.
