New idea side delivery rake tines

Picked up an old belt drive New Idea side delivery rake last summer. Has worked well for my few acres of hay. Came with an assortment of rake tines. Some look like original style. Some rubber mount. Some John Deere tines mixed in, although they seemed to be the wrong angle as a couple of them jammed over the bar and had to be taken off while raking. A few teeth were missing completely. So, I figured I'd replace some of those mismatched tines and fill in the missing gaps. Ordered some replacement tines and filled a couple of spots, but I'm missing a bunch of the clips that hold the tines in place. Looked on ebay and a couple of other places and don't see where I can order just the tine hold down clips for the old New Idea rake? How universal are the clips? I see clips for older New Holland rakes. Would those work, or are the designs different?

Don't know where you're located, but I've got some new teeth, clips, and I think bolts in my garage for a new idea rake. I'm located in east central Wisconsin, but I'd be willing to ship.

Email me at [email protected] if you're interested.

Don't know anything about the belt driven rake as New Idea sold very few if any in the 50 mile radious of where they were made and no parts for anything New Idea made any more, unless you find aftermarket.
