New Holland 315 baler

Anyone know what the HP and weight requirements are to run and New Holland 315 baler and have a loaded wagon on the back? Im thinking I have the HP, but not the weight. The Ford 6610 will do the job, but I was wondering about a Ford 4110. The 4410 shakes like crazy compared to the 6610.

Hi Mike

I don't tow trailers behind my baler but the plunger will certainly shake a small tractor about. Our older Australian NH baler models are different to the US ones. I run a 417 (79 plunger strokes per min at 540 PTO 14 x 18 inch bale) with a 7840 New holland and have used both a Ford 7700 and a
Ford 5000. They all move a bit but bigger the tractor has less movement. I am on mostly flat ground. The 6610 would get my vote for the job.

The baler was throwing the 4110 around. The baler even has a v4 Wisconsin on it, but we converted it to pto. Parts from a New Holland 477 haybine worked well.
