I think i got lucky on the grapple fork cylinder 0n the F-10 farmhand loader, the one that pivots on the trunion, all it's got for a seal in their, is the same as the main lift leathers, and i got a pair of them on hand. But got to figure out how to drill the center of the leather, to fit the shaft. All you get now is a blank, leather's. There was some rust in the cyl, what grit should i have on the stone to clean it up a little, 220 ?

How big is the hole needed in the leather cup?

I'd punch it out with a hollow punch, IIRC, my set goes up to 3/4", if larger I'd make a punch in the lathe, even if it needed to be 2".

You must be planning to use a cylinder hone? "220" seems a little course, but used with a diesel fual and motor oil mixture and light pressure it will probably be fine for the leather cup.

220 is whats in the breaker now,but i thinks that's a 3/4 hole,no punch that big,LOL, i let the machine shop help me, to get it centered.
