PZ CM165 drum mower blades touching?

I have a CM 165 drum mower I bought used and have no history on. Overall it’s in reasonable condition and shortly after I got it I attempted to use it after putting new blades on it. It worked great for a little while and then started making a ticking noise I could hear from inside the cab. The source of the noise appears to be the blades making contact with the opposite drum when the pass by. At the time I thought a bearing went and caused one of the drums to shift. I’m finally getting to it now and after some disassembly I can’t find any issues apart from the blades touching the opposite drum which I assume they shouldn’t? Anyone that’s played with one before have any ideas? Thanks, Sam

It appears I’ve determined two things - the cause of the problem and I overlooked the simple things. It appears that the drums have become bent/worn where the blades sit and one of the blades was bent (not horizontally but vertically). The end result the blade was sitting too high and touched the drum. Some heat and a little TLC and I’ll put some new blades on and see how it goes.
