I pulled the plunger out on my New Holland 311 baler.
Found 5 out of 7 bearings bad. Replaced those.
One bearing mount on top on knive side was bent. Got the torch out and straightened.
Lastly I see 3 U shaped cut outs on the top of the plungern that appear to be there to clear something. In the bottom of the U there is wear and breakage of metal on the plunger.
So what is in the baler chamber that can interfere with the plunger in this area???????
