New Holland Baler attachments

As I have shopped for a newer baler I have noticed that some New
Holland Balers have what looks like a single small wheel rake next to
the outside of the pickup
Is it used to pull in hay from the outside of the wind row?
How well do they work?
Can they be purchased and added on?
Wondering minds want to know?

I bought a 2 wheel windrow turner yers ago that I was going to mount on the front of my baling tractor that I could mount on windy days. One time I had to pull the rake right in front of the baler tractor to reform the windblown windrows. If I hadn't it would have been the same as not having it raked. Rain was coming the next day. This is why that rake wheel is available.

We call them hay saver wheels in my part of the country. Nearly everyone uses them here on balers. They do help pick up some hay on the outside of the windrow, essentially making the pickup wider. You can put them on a baler that doesn't have it originally. I believe they come in 2 or maybe more different sizes(wheel diameter) They work really good if you windrow has been pushed out to the side a bit from wind or when rolled over. Out here most of the equipment dealers car order them. I believe Schoup(sp?) has them.
