Hello. My husband has a Ferguson 12 inch two bottom moldboard plow with a three point hitch. It has the shins that are one piece with the moldboard. He broke one of the plowshares and needs to replace it. His plowshares are the older ones, I guess, with the curve on them. They also only have three bolt holes that are evenly spaced at 6.5 in on center. Does anyone know where he can find replacement plowshares?

(quoted from post at 17:34:11 04/07/20) Also, you could (ploworx) he might be able to help you.
Thanks Pete. I checked out both places. Ploworx has something that looks like it'll work. Burch's had some, but were sold out. They wanted up to $150 for one share. My husband actually found another set of plows for the same price.

The older ones are blacksmith sharpen shares and only have 2 bolts. Yours with 3 are probably not the older shares but the throwaway type of share. My plow is the blacksmith type with 2 bolts.

The one I found that would match is listed under blacksmith shares. It is $135 plus nuts, bolts, and shipping. I think we're just going to get another plow.

You wont spend 135 for a new share, yet will spend several hundred for another plow that may need shares too? Just sayin....Called maintanace, cost of ownership.

If this is a working plow and you don't care what it looks like, just go back to the iron pile and get an old share. cut a piece out of that one that looks like the point you want and weld it on top of the
broken one. There really is nothing precision about a plow share.
