John Deere kba disc

I have a double gang kba disc, pretty rusty but still works, I want to lock down the scraper blades in place , my question is where would you lick them down to , the inner part of the disc , the middle , or towards the outer edge. Thanks

KBA scrapers bolt individually to angle iron frame with a cast mounting bracket with scraper held to bracket by a spring on a headed pin held in place with a cotter key.

you can lock them in any position with the tab on the top of the scraper bar, my question is where would you put the blades on the disc

There is no scraper bar on a KBA. As I previously stated individual scraper bracket bolt to disk frame.

Can you please post a photo of your disk or scraper bar that you're referring to?

It appears to me that scrapers can be relocated on scraper bar(item 9) by loosening then moving scraper & tightening bolt. One could add tension to spring(item 14) by adding shims to bar.

#2&8 is just the bearing that the bar spins in, you have to lock down #3 to get the desired placement of the scrapers on the disc, also my springs are rusted and broken. Have to find new ones

you can adjust the scraper bars like you said, but mine are all adjusted right , if you flip up #3 you can work the lever #4 back and fourth with a rope and the scrapers move up and down the disc clearing the trash off, but i dont want to use the lever and all the ropes , so you can put the scrapers any place on the disc by tightening the #3 bracket down , where would you put the scrapers , to the inside , middle ,or outer edge of the disc ?
