About when did JD make the #12 potato planters? Where would you look?

The Deere online parts catalog list them as coming out in 1940. The parts book Deere has online has a date of 1960 on it so they were likely made into the early 60's with no parts changes after 1960. Tom

I just looked there and Deere does not list them as of an hour ago.

I just opened up the Deere parts page and on search by model typed in 12. It is about the 10th item down the page. Tom

I found what you are refering to but go into picture shown it says a 3 digit model number, not a 2 didget. And no parts pages showing.
