John Deere CC field cultivator

I picked up a CC field cultivator and the clutch lift appears to be missing a few parts. Can I convert this cultivator to hydraulic lift?

Thanks for any help

That"s what I started farming with in 1972...behind a D17. Yes, I converted it to hyd lift. Can"t remember exactly how but I made mounting brackets in the center of the digger, mounted on the hitch.

There were kits available from the dealers to do the hydraulic conversion. Check JD parts site to look at a Parts Catalog to see what the parts look like then you should be able to construct your own.

We had one that was hydraulic lift but I think it was factory . I spent alot of hours on the d17 pulling it.

We converted one using the controls from a John Deere 494 corn planter. Easy to do. One bolt on each side thru frame to hold the control on.

I have one for parts, where are you located? Your handle begins with nemo, I'm guessing NE Missouri? I'm in NW Ill. I'll take a picture later if I don't get too busy and forget. Yes, I'd sell it reasonable. Chris

Here?s pictures of what I have if you?re interested

One thing you should know is that the different sizes use a different part. A 12' machine the part is made way heavier and stronger than one for an 8' unit. Deeres on line parts lookup will give pictures of them and what one fits what size.
