Identifying PTO Shaft Connection

I recently picked up this heavy duty tiller but it has this wierd PTO connection I've never seen before. Has anyone seen this before?

Likely, there's supposed to be a "torque limiting clutch" ("slip clutch") attached there, yours may require one that's brand and model-specific to that unit.

Below is a link to a SIMILAR clutch on another brand of tiller, which will give you an idea of what you are missing.

Any idea of the "brand" of your tiller?

That definitely helps. Thanks!

Pretty normal, you can get a pto shaft yolk that would slip right on, but you really need a slip clutch or a shear pin. Something like this should slip right on.

AS Bob asked do you know the Brand/manufacturer? There might be a parts manual available on line, but that starting point is needed. Then a model or at least width to narrow the choices.

That has a nut on the end of the shaft and it appears to have more than 6 splines; so an off the shelf, 1-3/8, 6 spline, slip clutch may not fit it. Will the tractor end of a PTO shaft slide on the shaft properly? That is an easy check of the splines.
