Is anyone familiar with this blower? Who made them? I cant find any info on them. It is 7 3"(87").

Looks like a decent unit. For sale locally.

It's a model 80. They made them since the 70's until early 90s? The one you show has CaseIH decals so late 80s maybe.

I had a model 70 for years, similar machine 78" and one auger.

Gearbox parts the same between the two depending on serial number. Worked ok and could still get parts through CaseIH.

Do you know where i can find specs/dimensions on this blower?

I have red that the IH 80 has shear bolt problems but it sounds like that is mostly people using more hp than its designed for.

Or Case IH thought they could cheat physics and just make a wider snow..........thrower by making it wider and still use the same parts as the narrower model.

I have an IH model 80 snowblower that I use on my 856. Haven't had any problems breaking shear bolts, course, I just creep along when I'm blowing snow.

My 70 had the shear bolt thing drilled out and redrilled, I was 3rd owner maybe.

As far as dimensions, a 70 fits easily in the back of an 8' bed halfton, 80 isn't terribly larger, just wider and beefier for the top auger.

The 80 was made for a 60-70 PTO HP tractor of the era.
The 70 was more for the 40-50 PTO tractor.
