My neighbor has a 10' Bush Hog model 2510 mower. He hit a rock with the LH blade and it quit turning. The failed part is the "Rubber element joint". Essentially, it's the coupling that attaches the LH cross haft to
the center gearbox. The only problem seems to be the rubber center is damaged. The dealer says the only fix to replace the entire unit for about $1,000 which is about half of what the shredder is worth. Does
anyone have a cheaper fix? Thanks
