3pt bale spike unroller

I have a 3 pt bale spike unroller.........the kind the the bale revolves......I have it attached to my 3/4 ton pickup......am trying to decide if a 12 volt hydraulic pump will turn the bale to unroll it......I have a spare pump.......already have one installed for the lifting of the bale up and down.......anyone ever do anything like this......poor mans bale unroller on a pickup?........thanks

pump says it is like 2-3 gal a min.

I think you?ll want at least 10 gpm . I have a bale spear like you have only on a tractor it?s nice to be able to turn it slow but sometimes it?s also nice to spin the bale a little faster it the bale is stuck together
