I see you posted a couple of times. Did you get the information you need? I have some 145 plows but would have to travel to get pictures. Paul

Did the parts schematic photo Bob posted for you yesterday not help you?

I agree with Paul in there's no "lock assembly" that holds the moldboard in the ground just gravity & suction of bottoms once plowing is initiated.

Thank you everyone ...We are thinking that our plow isn't a F145 H like our jd parts person thinks, None of the info we can find doesn't show what should be there...The plow could be used as is except apparently if you don't back up things will be fine ...if I back up I will break the moldboard...So shall do what I can with what I got...& just keep going forward...

Thanks

Our plow is not a semi-mount plow...We bought it used back in 1975-76...sold it when quit farming in 1985...just bought it back in this year ...so pieces were gone in between 1985-2019...feller we bought it from only broke the moldboard about 1 year ago...

Crazy but I can't find the paperwork of when we bought plow in 1975-76...Wishing we could find what model it is...

Thanks everyone for your help

Joyce

If your plow isn't semi-integral with a rear tire that's lowered/raised with a hyd cylinder it's definitely not a F145H. Can you post a photo of your plow?

Here's a photo of the tailwheel lock mechanism on a "555" and a parts drawing. (Key #9, G883A.)

Might this be what you are looking for?

We think we found the right one now...F670 ;F680; F690... The F760 has the right tail end ...Finally....Found it on plowguy.com pictures...Now to wait till tomorrow to see if jd dealer can order the parts...Hope they're not obsolete.....Have found the parts numbers that are needed ...

Unless it?s a rigid beam plow there is a latch a spring and roller and the assembly the holds it all together to latch the beam and keep it in the ground .

Our plow is a F670 ; F680 ; F690...The parts needed are G804A cap ;G903A Lock ; H4301 Bolt (2 used)
Also AA11070A Link ; A11890 Link; 11H 215 pin,cotter 1/4x 1 1/2 (2 used)

jd parts book...PC 712 Axle Rear-13...

Phoned jd today , the parts are all obsolete... poor folks never win...lols

Thanks everyone
Joyce...
