How to adjust two bottom plow?

I have the two bottom plow for the Ford 8n. I need to know how to adjust it for my 3600. They are the 14" inch. I have used it on my to30 Ferguson. Without looking I think it is a dearborn 10a.

Just set it to run level n the dirt. Drive the land wheel up on a 6x6 to simulate being in a furrow.Adjust top link, and lift links to accomplish this. The wheel tread should be set to where the front bottom will cut a full rurrow. A bit less than full is better than too wide/ overcutting.

If it worked good on Your TO30 it should
work pretty much the same on your 3600
adjust your rear wheel spacing so it's
close to where the TO30 was. Are you
planning on putting in a garden or doing
a large field, there are several
adjustments you can make to your setup
and you can tune it to cut like butter.TJ

If your 3600 has a wider tread setting than the 8n or to20, the pull bar on the plow can be adjusted inch or two to the left so the first bottom cuts 14 in. Measure from inside tire sidewall to a stick running along the landside of the first bottom up to the
tractor. Then with the plow sitting level, back the tractor to the plow with the left wheels on six inch blocks and adjust the tractor's links to meet the plow. Maybe when you get to the field you will want to shorten the top link a turn or two.

The owners manuals say do not do that, only twist the hitch bar to make that adjustment.

So I should only twist the pull shaft? How much to move from the 17.5 inch to the desired 14? Forward or backward?
