NH 315 baler feeder drive gearbox

for the life of me I can't find a drain plug for New Holland 315 feeder drive gearbox. it must have one. can someone help me out? thanks

No way I would Drain anything... WITHOUT AN OWNERS MANUAL!!!

Go to New Holland?s website or Messicks and look at the free exploded parts list. From the NH site, with a credit card, you can download a PDF manual.

315 - fine baler.

I have a manual, but can't really see where it is mentioned. there is a boss on the bottom of gearbox that looks about where it should be, but isn't drilled and tapped for pipe plug. I wonder if mine gearbox just got missed, or they just didn't drill any of them. it's a new to me baler. just want to change the gear oil. thanks.

NH 315 parts catalog lists "no drain plug" on feeder drive gearbox. You'll have to suction the old fluid out in order to install new fluid.

I did end up using a suction gun. took a bit but it worked fine. thanks
