My new holland bale wagon the second table is not going up enough for the hay to catch the tines I have adjusted the trip arm to where pump just starts to squall then goes down but that's only 95percent vertical the table still not straight up tried the times in all three holes didn't help what am I missing manual no help thanks

It should go past vertical and then there is a plate that pulls the bottom row of bales out a little bit so the tier kind of sits angled back when it on the load rack at least on all the ones I?ve been around

Our gracious hosts don't charge by the "word" to post here, you mite as well have posted the model number, that mite help those who know more than I about these machines to help you.

That being said, many years ago I owned a small Stackliner, and often helped a neighbor with his larger Stackliner, so I am familiar with what you are talking about.

When the sound from the hydraulic system changes, the second table hydraulic cylinder has reached the end of it's stroke and the second table should be where it needs to be.

If not, there may be an internal problem with the cylinder, so t doesn't extend fully, if all that's OK, something is worn or bent, in the that area.

It's a 1012 nothing bent I'm sure it's my
ignorance just missing something on
adjusting it right somewhere just can't
figure out what the somewhere is works
perfect other than times not catching
bales the ones I watch on internet are
going past vertical mines only going I'm
guessing 95 percent

I did have the cylinder packing bad in one of my NH balewagons and it had oil on the air side and would stop travel,, it should have a vent in the air side but like on the 1049 I had traded for someone did not like the oil leaking out so they had installed a plug causing the cylinder to hold leaking by oil in the air side could be your issue from what you describe,, if this is your issue you just need to rebuild the cylinder a ops and parts book are your best friends on them, any NH dealer can order you them as well as a service manual, I sold them new as well as ran them for decades

I'd bet it's your rolling rack. Not real familiar with your model, but on mine, you can adjust the relief pressure on the rolling rack. If you get in soft or sticky bales, that push hard, you sometimes have to let the rolling rack slide a little easier, or the second table won't push the load back correctly. Does it seem to work better on the first layer, or when you're going uphill?

You prob have gone over these in your manual but posted just incase.. this is all you have in adjustment on table 2 as far as going up and delivering bales to load rack.. Couple things:
1) that cylinder that runs the 2nd also runs the pushoffs..are the pushoffs in good condition and all the way in their rearword position.. usually the 2nd table wouldnt work unless but still..

2) double check all your adjustments are the SAME for the size of bales your loading..the 2nd table trip arm has different positions for 14x18 and 16x18.. (page 10) page 11 fig 16

3) fingers that sit on the top of bales have a setting from the tips to the load rack seems to me its 48 inches BUT you can fine tune that as you stack (which I do).. those fingers need to be in right position also..see page 10 fig 14..ALSO.. I ASSUME YOURS is single bale offload??? if so make sure the "handle" on the passenger side front of load rack on side is in the right position also.. page 25 fig 41 B handle should be down to make adjustments for 2nd table delivery to load rack then like I said can fine tune..

Very hard to do this over text..

FYI i bought mine two years ago..first year was used off and on as to much to learn right away... Last year I used it 100 % of the time and it was awesome.. once you get the kinks out of it and learn how to run one they are awesome..I also made modifications to mine which for my set up worked even better..

sneeze acres on youtube has some posts on mine working.. will be adding more shortly as I want to posts some modifications and tricks Ive learned in the few years Ive had it..

Good luck.. if its new to you.. change the filter and oil also..

found arch tine adjustments for different bales page 43..
14x18 - 48" from tips to top of load rack
16x18 - 42"

as said this is a starting.. can be adjusted as you see fit

Something I was thinking could the arch the tines are on somehow gotten pushed back and maybe need rolled forward just pipe in a pipe with jam nut what's y'alls thoughts on that

anything is possible. But your talking two different things.. arch tines and the 2nd table not going past 90 degrees.. unless im missing something.. I hate to make something wrong to make the other wrong work.. somehow that doesnt end good.. also I believe those are pretty much stuck where they are as the angle iron on the side that goes from top front to bottom rear wont allow you to move the sides much..

I got to looking at it real close the angle irons had a bow in them made me think previous owners had maybe hit something I pulled the arch it worked I will replace angle irons thank you for your knowledge

With that being a 1012 it has the single bale unload option. With single bale unload there are two positions for the bale tines. One position holds then up and back so you can single bale unload. They are controlled by a lever on the left side of the arch. I have a 1005 and the tines can be rotated (adjusted) as to where they hang. Yours may just be pulled up for single bale unload?
