Just pulled off a ceased trailer hitch off a dead NH 68 baler And attached it to our usable NH 68 baler. Does the pipe need to be extended for the wagon?

Don't know. Does your wagon have a short or long toung?. Hook it up and see if adjustment is needed.

You probably mean seized. It might break loose if you chain the pipe to something solid like a big tree and pull very gently with a tractor while a helper watches to be sure things are not bending or twisting.

Mike, in deciding on the length keep in mind what will happen to the chute when you go through an abrupt dip. I had none on my own ground, but when I went to bale for a friend we got the chute caught under the front of the wagon and bent.

Get a big weed burner torch and heat the outside pipe up good. When it's hot tap on the inside pipe with a sledge and see if it will drive IN a little. Once it's moving at all, hurry up and chain it to a tree and yank it out of there. Then go over the inside pipe with a wire brush and grease it, and swab the bore of the outside pipe with used oil on a rag on a broom stick. Been there, done that, got the tee shirt!
