Came upon this 543 sort of on accident. I was in the right
place at the right time. It has the notill bar which is why I
wanted to buy it in the first place. The fertilizer boxes are
cracked but they?re ok for decoration which is what I wanted
them for.
I have a 540 that I?ve replaced a bunch of the moving parts on
and I?d like to put the notill bar on my 540. Can this be done
fairly easily?
Also I assume that the row units are identical and the seed
metering parts can be used on either the 540 or 543. Is this an
accurate assumption?
I paid 200 dollars for this planter and I have no plans for it
other than to strip the useable parts off of it and scrap the rest.
