Dearborn model X11-59 disc.

I saw your post on the N board but no one replied there either.
I am fairly well versed in the old Dearborn implements but have never heard of a model X11-59 and suspect no one there has either.
Where are you getting that number from?
All the Dearborn stuff had a metal tag rivited on it someplace. Does yours?
Can you post photos of the tag and the disc from a couple of angles? Good, clear ones please - Dark or fuzzy photos won't do.
I think someone could ID it from the photos.
As to getting parts for it; unless someone has started making them again, there is not much to be had for those old discs with a
7/8" square shaft. Most of that old stuff used a wooden insert in the bearing housing (called a boxing) and there isn't, to my knowledge, anyone making them anymore.
All the new discs use a larger shaft - 1 1/8" iirc.
I think? I still have some disc blades with 7/8" square hole. They were on an old Love brand disc that I scrapped some years ago.
I would sell them cheaply.
My email is alwats open in classic view.

I have included pictures including the metal tag. It is a 6' 3pt. disc from back in the very early 50's. My Dad had a '52 8N and my Uncle a '49 8N. Many happy memories of them using these to farm. I helped as soon as I was old enough. Thanks

Some Dearborns used a 1" round axle. Just scraped out a drag type with that round axle and it had no wood boxings.
