finish mower

I am looking to replace my finish mower. It is a Land Pride 90 inch cut side discharge. I think almost all large finish mowers are rear discharge, which is what I want. I mow with a Farmall M with a 3 point hitch, and want another 90 inch deck.

The three I have narrowed it down to are Land Pride
Bush Hog
Woods
Comments on what you like, dislike about these three brands would be appreciated. Thanks, Ellis

I had a land pride rear discharge, 48 in. It was like it was a mulching mower. It left it in a tight mat, it would not blow it out. Might have been what that model was supposed to do but I got rid of it after 1 year.

I have a Woods. It's a heavy built machine, and works fine. I imagine all brands mentioned are similar. Dealer proximity and cooperation would make a big difference to me.

My son and I each had a Woods RM 600, 6' finish mower and each behind an NAA. Both are Jubilees. We are flat landers so only an ocassional scalp. They served us well with simple regular maintenance and no major repairs. I was mowing 3 acres around the house and barn plus a walking path around 11 acres. My son is mowing 2 acres. (he lives 22 miles from us)
I did replace the main belt once in 20 years. There are skid runners on each side and I replaced them once. Also the leveling wheels on the back needed new bearings once.
My son has gone to a Gravely 5' zero turn and sold his Woods. I sold my Woods 2 years ago and have a mower service who happens to use Gravelys. I split and sold the 11 acres so only 3 acres to mow.
Now, all that said, 90" deck suggests that you are also doing a large flat ground area. One thing that I would be sure to have, and thought about many times, is 4 wheels attached to the deck. Let it float independently of the tractor with hydraulic only for non-cutting transport, tall vegitation or standing water.
I did own a 7' cut Woods for a short time but it was to big for my purposes. My lawn layout and plantings were done with the 6' in mind.
That is my story and I'm sticking to it. (sounds like a good CW song LOL)
