Wow! Went internet shopping for new JD 25A mower belts. Found everything from $8.00 to $50.00. Ended up ordering aftermarket from USA Bearings and belts for $14.25. Can't believe an $8.00 belt would be any good or a $50.00 OEM belt is any better than what I bought.

Couldn't find a Kevlar belt the right length or I would have probably put it at the top of my options. Guess I really don't have a question other than what has been your experience with buying V belts.

No idea what happened, had a fairly long post all typed, when I hit post it went away all I got was the blank page. Mods please delete this thread, I'm too lazy to do it all again.

We have bought some belts online, for a rider mower with a lot of reverse bends Kevlar is the way to go. We bought a cheap one
online for our Woods L59 on a Farmall C and it's working well, makes the C snort!
