3 point hitch set up for ford 4500

Hey everyone. I m looking for information on where I can find the correct equipment and setup for my ford 4500 diesel tractor. It s my first and I m not that experienced but I want to be able to use a post hole digger and other implements. I don t have any arms on the back of my tractor but have the receiver for them. I m guessing I need lower arms also and maybe a drive bar. Anyone with information would be appreciated and also a recommendation as to where I can get parts.

Thanks,

Stephen

It will be more ecomical to buy a tractor with 3 point all ready on it. The hoe sub frame will get in way. There is no gear to drive hyd pump either off engine or trans. Loader pump puts out too much volume for 3 point. There is no plumbing in r/a center hsg.

It has parts of a 3 point hitch already. The guy I bought it from used a grader blade off of it. I will take better pictures of the rear end as I think it just needs arms

Looks like he only needs the lift arms and connecting links.
Yes the lift arms will hit the hoe's mounts but shorting the stay chains will help.
Only issue I had with my 4500 was without the hoe the loader makes the tractor front heavy, if you nosed it over a hill on grass it wasn't going to back up, even with loaded tires it would spin.
those extra wheel weights will help.

Typically those model tractors came without a lot of parts and bits needed for the 3pt, that is why many of us are cautious here. Those parts add up in cost and need to
take most of the rear end apart to swap in, making this a costly job, often more than a tractor itself costs.

I haven?t seen any pic that actually shows the rear area of the tractor. Be sure you really have all the three point parts, a pump, the rock arm, etc. already.

Photo's show his has the engine mounted pump along with the lift top and rocker arms.
He needs the lift arms, leveling links, attaching pins and bolts.
Not sure if it has PTO or not.
