IH 56 planter soybean plates

Which ones do you fellas use and which sprockets. I have 3301A steel plates set as slow as they will turn. My seed count is 2600/pound. That gave me 133,600 ppa. That s ok in my heavier ground but would like a little less in the lighter ground. Any thoughts?

I use a plastic plate from Lincoln Ag. It is one of those multiple seed per cell(4 to 5 seeds).I think it is 24 cell. Set the (185IH planter unit) to drop approx. 1 1/2" to 2" apart in a 30" row. Some guys here have also had good luck/results by using a pinto bean plate. Pinto bean plate has bigger 'holes' so it plants a bit heavier..Here(western Colorado) we do better going heavier than lighter.
