Case IH 8530 Sq. Baler

Posted awhile back looking for information on this baler. Thank you to all that replied. Ended up getting it as dad liked it. Came with the owner manual and a few extra parts.

Question now is that I need to check out the plunger rollers better before I make some adjustments, plunger is too sloppy. How can I get a good look at them to make sure they don't need replaced? I didn't see that any where in the manual. It does have how to adjust the plunger clearance. Thanks Paul

No good way to see all the rollers. Mine was sloppy also found the rollers online for $60 or $80 dollars. Removed all the restrictor plates and slid the plunger out and replaced the rollers. At least I know they are done. Took an hour to do the whole thing. I can post part numbers if needed.
 
Thanks craigco, I didn't know if I could get to the rollers if I took the plate off under the knife area or not. But that still wouldn't get me to the top ones behind the face of the plunger. Would probably have to take the thrower off to pull the plunger out too. There is a drop down pan in the thrower but I doubt it would let the plunger pass thru.
