New Holland H7150 VS Case HDX182

Hello,

I'm in the market for a used 18' New Holland H7150 Haybine and have been told that the Case HDX182 is essentially the same machine. To clarify I'm looking for a pull type sickle bar mower with conditioner & not just a header.....

Can anyone elaborate on the story behind the 2 brands being the same?

TIA

There were differences a few years ago. A neighbor was looking at new round balers. The IH had Diamond chain and sprocket tighteners where the NH had all import roller chain and used blocks for some of the chain tighteners. I was told that at one time the NH used lots of import bearing. The NH is the cheaper brand and should cost less than the IH. Not saying that is bad as there is lots of NH hay equipment in my area. It also could be that on mowers there is no difference. Ask your dealer he should be able to tell you the differences. Tom

CNH global is owned by fiat industrial prior to the
fiat purchase of CNH the hay equipment sold as
case ih was just rebadged Hesston machinery .
After the fiat buyout and conglomeration of CNH
global cnh had to sell or quit selling several lines of
machinery including the Hesston hay equipment line
the versatile and genesis tractor lines the line of
tractors that now is sold as McCormick . So the line
of hay equipment cnh now sells is just new Holland
equipment with red and silver paint instead of red
and yellow . The new Holland being built cheaper
when they are the company who makes the product
sounds fishy but then we are dealing with a
company with how many different daddy?s and
buyouts now foreign owned and controlled
