(quoted from post at 18:42:38 03/01/19) Wish I had those gauge wheels on mine.
this is a 10 foot rake i found laying in a old farm field for the last few years, yorks web site has a lot to be desired i think. i do not see one with this style frame and the jack support when the rake is disconnected from the tractor. i will look more and search the RE models. i wonder if this is a very old model. i know it is built very heavy. the wheels do seem very nice.

Here's mine. 8 foot and no extras. Tag is on the rear face of the angle iron frame. It used to have two pins on the swivel plate. Hard to read the tag but it is definitely an RE model.

Thanks so much for the pictures that really helps. I looked close and the jack was welded to the frame. The guy did a great job where he bent a heavy steel as a mount strap. Painted bit but the welds are the giveaway. At least I know what I have. Can't wait to try it.

I spoke to a guy at York in upstate NY. He told me this version of the York rake was made mid 70s and in to maybe early 80s I was able to scrape one tag that was stamped RE and a serial number. I have started to sand it down and wat to restore the rake so it looks like new behind my restored 1970 Ford 4000 SU
