NI sickle bar mower M41

Got a free New Idea mower. Everything is there, but the pitman arm and end connections. Not a problem to whip up another pitman arm, but gonna need the hardware to hook it up.

Doesn't seem to be much info on the M41 mower, as I've spent considerable time looking. Set up for a drawbar mount, has one pony wheel on the back. 7' bar and a beefy, well made unit. TIA.

I know that sounds like a No. 40 mower. Never heard of a number like M41. Check tag again to see if it is actually No. 40 I just sent one to scrap. I only saw 3 on them in my 75 years and the one I had was included in that 3 mowers. And this is about 45 mile from where they were made.

Yep, it's a Model 41. Noticed while looking up the critter, that hardly any of the NI parts sites even list it, but a few did.

If the end hardware clamps to a ball on the section bar you could probably use IH or JD parts on there. They would be easier to find.
