Ferguson bullet plow

I recently bought a Ferguson straight 2 disc bullet plow that has a 1/4" hole where it looks like a zerk fitting should be. I've tried a 1/4" - 28 zerk in the hole, and it won't turn. Does anyone know what kind of zerks this plow takes? Might it be a drive in or an English thread?

Where is the hole you are trying to grease. Furrow wheel has a grease fitting, disc bearing has a pipe plug. The other N tractor site has a online parts manual for the P-AO-20 plow. I don't remember for sure but I think I drilled and tapped that pipe plug hole and installed a standard zerk on mine.

I just discovered that all the replies have been going to my spam bin. When I try to answer this reply, I get a message that I using characters outside those allowed, and I'm using nothing but the standard alphabet. This has me puzzled.

The hole is at the opposite end of the axel from the furrow wheel. The 1/4" drive-in zerk is slightly larger than the hole and looks like it might work.
