Land pride bush hog

Every brand has light, medium and heavy duty. Do your homework, compare apples to apples. They both make junk and very good machines.

In my experience yes they are real good.
I've used a 6 ft Landpride rotary mower for
last 8 yrs or so, been tough. It has been
better built than prior King Cutter I used.
The Landpride 6 ft mower I have weighs 711
pounds. A Countyline 6 ft rotary mower they
sell at TSC weighs a hair over 500 pounds.
I prefer a mower with some more steel
weight in its build.

I have a landpride bush hog. It?s 10 - 15 years old. Hit tree stumps, old ironcastings, rocks and everything else you can imagine. It has some significant dings in the shroud, I?ve changed oil in the gearbox seaveral
times and greased the rear tail wheel every use. Replacement blades is all I?ve ever had to buy. It amazes me that after all these years of abuse, the gear box has never needed repair. So the answer is, Yes I?d buy
another LandPride.

We bought a new 6 foot bush hog brand a few years ago and I am very disappointed with it, poor design. I have had to do a
lot of major welding repairs on it, luckily I can do that myself. I realize we bought the lighter duty model because we
only have a JD 4600. We had a 5 foot king kutter before and it was better deigned and a whole lot cheaper!
