Bale Monitor for Vermeer 5400

I am in need of bale monitor for a Vermeer 5400 Rebel, difficult to locate the original Accue Tie monitors. Does anyone know if a newer Bale Expert monitor would work, or any vendors that sell these monitors used or new. I am not seeing anything on Ebay, web searches, or craigslist, etc. Thanks

you can buy a new one from Vermeer for both of them, depending on the years you may have to buy a harness as well that will plug right into your current harness that plugs into your monitor, I had to replace mine a few years back on my 505SI as I hit the old one with my pressure washer by accident,, it was like 1500.00 for the monitor and harness, it updates you to the current version

You might try Cooks Combine salvage in Clinton Mo. They also salvage balers and mowers. Have seen lots of Vermeer.

As many that have burned up, you think someone would have one. I'm sure most aren't going to the junkyard. Seek out some of the larger Vermeer dealers. Someone will be able to help you out.
