Both the master cylinders are leaking and they have the hyd.depth control rod.Can I replace these cylinders with regular cylinders and use spacers for depth control? Or should I repack the leaking cylinders? I believe a regular cylinder would still flow oil to the slave cylinders on the wings. Just bought this cult. The master cylinders with the limit stop for depth control is a internal oil bypass,so I'm not sure how this will trip the Hyd.control lever on the tractor which needs to see back pressure to trip. The two masters cylinders are missing the stop collars that clamp to the shaft not sure where I can buy just the stop collars. Thanks for any help.

I have one also, never had the main cylinder leak, but you should be able to buy the stop collar and put it on, when or if you rebuild it. The one other thing i must warn you on is the two copper or steel lines that are part of the plumbing, u got to make sure there is no dirt or dust that has settled in or around the holding blocks, that dirt will hold moisture and will rust the lines and you will be out in the fields next spring and boom, there goes your oil, it going to be a lot easier to fix in the yard then in a soft field, you're dead in the water when that blows! At that point almost easier to replace it with hyd hose.

If you replace the master cylinders with regular cylinder you will not be able to bleed the slave cylinders. The mater cylinders allow oil to pass through to the salve cylinders when they are all the way up. I would just repair the master cylinders you have. As for the kick back the bypass restricts the flow enough that most tractor SCVs will kick to neutral.
