What does this fit

I got this part from a JD dealer's parts inventory that went out of business in 1966. Can you identify it?

Thanks,

Mark

My GUESS would be that it is an overrunning clutch/ratchet used at the wheel of a ground-driven implement like a hay rake or manure spreader, similar to the Key #12 in this side delivery rake parts drawing.

Seems odd there's no "JD" trademark cast in, one the casting number does not look like a typical DEERE number.

I'm wondering if it's a short line manufacturers part? Seems like somebody used that color. Little Giant? Badger was a darker green, I think. There were many, but it's been too long and I don't remember!

Thanks Wayne, you got it. Don't think I'd have ever figured it out. Interesting that the cast part number is correct.

"Back in the day" I pitched more "stuff" into a Model "H" spreader than I care to remember, but the 3 "tabs" on your part didn't look familiar anymore.

Looking at the parts catalog, that's where the sprocket that drives the "spreaders" attaches.
