Dearborn Loader Parts Help

I have a Dearborn Loader Model 19-21.
The front pin came out of the lifting rod, dropping the cylinder assembly to the ground and breaking the stuffing box.
Anyone know where I can find a stuffing box? Dearborn Part #192127.
As an alternative, does someone know the specs for replacement single acting lift cylinders?
Rod is 1.5"; cylinder is 2.8" OD x 32.5"; 1" pins both ends.
I just don't know what the stroke is supposed to be...

I have found the best source for cylinders is Surplus equipment, look them up on the computer and give them a call with specs and they should be able to help you on new cylinder, which may be cheaper than fixing the one you have.

Push the cylinder all the way in,measure what is sticking out. Then pull it all the way out.Again measure what is sticking out.Subtract the first from the second. You have just found how long the stroke is.Those old obsolete cylinders can be rebuilt by a hydralic shop,or machine/welding shop. But it will be an expencive repair. As was said, surplus center can supply new cylinders chealer than repairing the old.

Since the orginals were one way you will not find one that is an exact match. Best to replace both and 2 way cylinders do not work well for long period of time because of type of seals used in them.

So far, nobody (including Surplus Center) has anything even close.
All are too short a stroke, too big a rod & pin or too long or short retracted length.
Anyone replace theirs and recall where they got them?

Some times one has to replace both cylinder so as to get a matched set. Bigger shaft will only increase what you can do as long as the closed and extended does not go over what will work. BTDT many times over the year where something happens where a cylinder breaks of get bent etc.

Don't think the cylinder or rod got damaged - appears to just be the stuffing box.
So if you have a cylinder that is NOT good, I'd be happy with just the box...

Try Bailey hydraulics.com They have a ton of different cylinders and the price is more than reasonable. As already suggested, replace both of them as they work a lot better as a matched pair. They also sell tube and rod material by the foot.
