McCormick no21 parts

I just picked up a complete no21 spreader but the drive mechanism that turns the drive chain is broken and mostly missing. Can parts be sourced for these old spreaders or is it just a buggy now?

There is or was a guy that used to specialize in the old spreaders - Macknair.com. I haven't checked it out for a while so I don't know what the status is.

Ok thanks. I could drill the hub and put a shear pin in it but I?d hate to do that I?d I could get parts and I would have to pull the pin every time I wanted to back up.
