crowspond here thanks for the replys to fuergson plow points but I don't know how to reply again thanks for the help im not real computer savvy ????????

(quoted from post at 10:09:27 12/14/18) Tap the little 'reply' on the lower right corner.

If crowspond happens to be on the ""more Modern view"" & not the antiquated classic view the 'reply' will be in upper RH corner.

Delta Red I'm with you. Modern view is totally out of context. No way to tell who is replying to who, and all replies just come to the top, rather than indented under an older reply to the original post.
I am old school also.

I think it's termed "different strokes for different folks". I personally don't like to look 3 or 4 or more pages back on Classic view to see what threads were replied to today. Then you throw in a post from last year or longer in time that someone replies to then Classic view readers probably don't have the faintest idea that the thread was replied to. Oh well each to their own!

This discussion has been had ad-nauseum on this board. As long as they keep trying to run the two systems simultaneously modern will never work the way it should. The forums which only use modern (which is just about all of them) do not have the kinds of problems which they have here.
Unfortunately, the powers that be do not see fit to change it. So we live with it.
If 18th century classic were to be eliminated, YT Support would have to go on unemployment, as there would be nothing for Chris to do! :D

Same here and I thought it worked good until a few years ago, now an original poster might reply to himself 6 or 8 times, then there might be a couple replies that make sense and then who knows what's next. Also if I post something it might turn into a double post hours later, never had that problem before.

Hi, I can only use 'Classic' for some reason the font is so
small on 'modern' I can't even tell what to click. I used to
use firefox but of late I have to use google and every thing is
different. Ed Will Oliver BC
