I am using a mower from a friend, he purchased it from someone else so, we do not know the make. Due to vibration I decided to replace the stump jumper as so I could have new blade bolts, one of the holes in the old pan was wallowed out. I started out trying to purchase new bolts, it appears the old blade bolts are possibly metric, so replace the pan with new bolts. My old blade thickness is .480, 1 1/2" hole.. The new bolts are 3 1/2" compared to 2 7/8" old bolts, the new bolts have a blade shoulder for a .500 blade thickness. OK, the question is, is are there blade bolts that will fit my blades. YES, I could cut off the new bolts and make them work, but then I still have to much vertical play with the blades I now have. OPEN to suggestions.
