JD 467 baler

I have a 467 baler that has started "beeping with a stop sign" and telling me to "dump the bale" that's started. I've looked in and around and the only thing I found was a broken spring that hooks to the gate, boy, that spring don't want to go back on. Got the new one on and it still doing the same thing. Checked the manual and didn't see my problem there, most likely missed it. Can someone head me in the right direction?

Just trying to finish up the hay, all the rain sure messed up hay crop, not going to be much hay in mid-East Texas.

1st thing to check is gap in gate locks when gate is closed with no hay in baler. There are extra shims stored on shim attaching bolt if needed. Clearance between gate lock & pad should be 1/32-1/8''. My next guess is 1 or both gate closed switches are out of adjustment causing gate open light to come on after bale core is formed. I've also seen tractor scv leak internally enough to allow gate to barely open causing gate open/stop light to come on.

Clean the baler off on the bottom where the gate closes. Crop build up will prevent the gate from completely closing and setting off the alarm. We have this issue when baling stalks and not enough wind to blow the chaff off the baler.
