Boom pole uses

I have used my boom pole for loading logs and utility poles on to trailers, loading and unloading equipment that I buy and resale, pulling posts out of the ground. They are handy to have and use

Picking up most anything as long as its not to heavy. I've picked up large propane tanks, riding lawn mowers, logs, air compressors, plows, disc harrow, I guess you get the idea.

They're handy to have around. I rigged mine up to attach to the loader for setting trusses

If you don't have a front end loader a boom pole is the next best thing. Also using a hydraulic cylinder as a top link will add to its useful lifting height.I have
Catagory 2 boom pole real heavy duty and won't bend very easy,it'll pull the front end of a AC D19 off the ground when using it no problem.

They are handy and when I determined I did need one, I figured the lighter duty model would be best as it can easily be lifted and moved around by hand, yet still lift something substantial. Also makes it easy to hook up. I've used it on the tractor to retrieve deer and hang same until butchering. I'm seeing another use now as well, lifting a backhoe cylinder if same ever needed to be taken off for re-sealing. Most kinds of lifting equipment will pay for itself in short order. Even if not used often, when you need it, it's there, well worth the cost to have.

They are very handy, especially as you get older. I've had a few and bent and broke them all, so my advice is go easy on them. Just because you think you can lift it doesn't mean the pole is up tot he job!

They can be handy to have but they can also be deadly. Seen more the none guy pick up or should I say try to pick up something to heavy and flip a tractor over. I have used them to pull and engine out of a car and other such things. I built my own and have it set up to mount on my loader bucket also so I can lift things a lot higher. That is how I built my hay barn I use the boom on the loader to lift beams up in place and then welded them on
