New idea 323

I am looking for 6 rubber fingers for my new idea 323 ear picker. They measure around 11”. If anyone could help me out or point me in the right direction I sure would appreciate it. Thank you.

Agco has them - bought some for mine. It was several years ago so maybe possible something has changed since then.

Ant Amish in the area that use pull type pickers? If so stop and ask them were to go for parts as the amish in PA are making about every part you will ever need for New Idea pickers and New Holland hay equipment. Tom

Any used from the scrap pile are sun rotted and don?t last.

Lot of folk make paddles from truck mud flaps or the like.

Call Rueben Zimmerman of Picker Paradise in Missouri. Phone number is 573-378-4172. He makes replacement paddles of steel plate and heavy belting that slide on the square drive shaft. His price is reasonable, $50.00 for an assembly that replaces three rubber finger wheels. I have seen these rubber finger wheels advertised for $70.00 each at Country Machinery in Leola, PA. ( 717-656-9733) if that is what you really want.
I replaced one whole row of rubber fingers on my NI 325 with 327 husking bed for $150.00 and am very pleased with their performance. The heavy belting really moves the ears along. It is ironic that NI used similar rubber/belting paddles on their older models and changed their design to the fingers which do not hold up.

Four of them on the Eau Claire craigslist. Don't know if seller will ship or not. $25 each. sorry, no link... computer is not being
cooperative this morning. But if you search the Eau Claire craigslist for "corn picker" under farm & garden, it will show up.
