Have a new JD 930 zero turn mower to replace my old X-mark lazer Z.Wanted to use "gator" blades to mulch sticks and leaves etc. Dealer said they don"t carry them and would have to order them from Oregon. I put them on and the mower seems somehow to run much rougher with them s if they were out of balance. They don't seem to be and the retaining bolts seem fine. Should these blades "feel 'any different then the regular blades?I never could tell the difference between regular blades and gator blades with the x-mark. Thanks Brad

Not sure about the blades the that is one heck of a mower! Mine is 3 years old and never had a problem.

I wouldn't think that they should be much different than the factory one. It has been my experience that a true commercial mower like that 930 can mulch stuff almost as good with factory blades.

I sold dozens of Dixon ZTRs with the Gator blade kit not once was they ever out of balance, on the ones you installed was the hole in the blade the same size as the ones you removed? I have seen people install ones with a bigger hole and causes them to be out of balance a few times,, may not be your issue but what i have seen,, once was a JD rider the local dealer had installed a kit for the owner on, they could not find the vibration so the guy brought it to me, with the correct blades on it it ran smooth again
