346 baler knotters cover

Does anyone have the panel that covers the knotters? Is there supposed to be a cover for the packer arm?

No cover on the packer arm.The knotter cover is just a simple piece of 'tin'. Easily made.

Cover is still available from JD but the price will force one to desire to make one or locate a used one. Ditto on no feeder finger shield.

But if you have curious kids (or adults) it is best to operate any equipment with shields in place. A neighbor who is old enough to know better (over 70) is far too reckless for my liking around turning PTO shafts.

Took mine off and mounted a fan to keep the knotters clear of any chaff.

This ones been sitting outside for a while and will when I get it unstuck. I'll have to make some kind of cover for that packer arm.
