John. Deere wheel tread

For a 3 bottom 16 inch we always set ours at 27 inches from the center of the tractor to the inside of the rear tire. The operaters manual list the different widths based on bottoms and 14 or 16 inch. Tom

You can easily measure it and figure it out. measure fror the center of 3 point to the outside of the first bottom. Then measure from the drawbar to the inside of the tire.Make that measurement an inch or two narrower than the plow measurement. As was stated,we need to know how many bottoms and how wide. 14;16;18 makes a difference.

It?s a 3x14 plow . Ask because the front bottom isn?t filling in the furrow all the way if i crowed the furrow wall it seems to do better .

From the manual for a F125 (same basic plow) Deere says 3 bottom 14 inch to set at 25 inches. When plowing deeper than 8 inches they say add one inch. Tom

I ended up turning the right sway block to the category one position and the left one to the category two position which let the plow pull to left and the front bottom can take a full cut . I remember always running the old 550 ih semi mount that way
