Wondering if anyone would have a clue on this, I just got a Ferguson D-EO-20 hay rake. It's in rough but functional condition. Noticed a lot of free play in the bars and after some looking I figured out I'm missing several rubber bushings.

They're 21 in this parts diagram http://driedhotpeppers.com/images/Hay_Rake_pics/FERAKE08.jpg

Part # S-10098 Bushing-Rubber.

Is there any chance these are available somewhere? I have the feeling I may have to find some kind of hunk of rubber and make replacements myself... anyone know a good source for that?

Number 39. Ferguson S-9863 should be CR WC87504

Number 41. Ferguson S-9864 should be CR 6200-2ZJ

The bearings that go into the big spider wheel and connect to the bars. The big main ones seem to be pretty solid. I pulled one of them out to inspect it and it's kind of an oddball thing. There are really two bearings, one big one in front and a smaller one on the rear on a sort of cone shaped part with a stud coming out where the bars bolt to. I'm not sure if they might be press-fit on or what. They all turn and none of them are horrifically wobbly but a lot of them don't feel great either.

I can probably grease it really well and run it for some time as is but a lot of those studs are beat up- I think they were supposed to all have slots for cotter pins but some are partially broken and rigged up with jam nuts, the one I took off wasn't completely straight either. It looks like that whole thing is one big assembly with the conical shaped section/stud being all one part. I suppose the bearings are pressed onto it... although the little one in the back almost looks like there are threads or something inside. I didn't feel like trying to pull it apart and ruin something that can still work.

Which bearings do you need?

Looks that way, that's a pretty old rake.

I have a MF20 rake, it is different than the Ferguson D-EO-20 rake. McMaster-Carr has all kinds of rubber bar stock that you should be able to make the bushings from.

Thanks. Another question, my bearings are all usable but not in the best shape. Are bearings for this thing unobtainium?

Hmmm... I can't tell. that "disc" part the bearing goes into in the picture doesn't look like mine, mine isn't really a disc it's more like a spoked wheel without the wheel part and a bearing for the bar at the end of each spoke.

Is the Massey Ferguson Model 20 rake a different rake than a Ferguson D-EO-20? I have no idea.
